Plastic and reconstructive surgery

Plastic surgical reconstruction is an important element in the  multidisciplinary approach involved in cancer treatment in general. It can extend the possibilities of surgical excision and just as importantly aid in the rehabilitation of the patient.

Our main focus is on reconstruction after cancer extirpation, such as breast reconstruction.  Affected areas include skin cancer, head and neck cancer, gentito-urinary and especially breast cancer.  Other areas of plastic surgical services include traumatic, reconstructive and arthroplastic hand and wrist surgery,  as well as general plastic surgical services.

We work closely with the oncologists to provide timely, state of the art and appropriate treatments related to breast cancer.
