Centre for Nursing Research

The mandate of the Centre for Nursing Research is to conduct and publicize the results of rigorous, peer reviewed, externally funded research directed towards the advancement of nursing practice. The Centre is also mandated to promote evidence-based practice throughout the nursing department.

Core members of the Centre include: Margaret Purden N., Ph.D. (Scientific Director); Carmen Loiselle N., Ph.D. (Nurse Scientist); Nancy Feeley N., Ph.D.(Nurse Scientist); Céline Gélinas N., Ph.D. (Nurse Scientist); Ève Bourbeau-Allard, MSI (Research Librarian); Stephanie Lopresti (Administrative Coordinator); and Nikolas Argiropoulos (Research Coordinator, data analysis). Other professionals are employed according to their expertise and the needs of specific research projects. Nursing students also contribute to the Centre for Nursing Research as research assistants or in conducting their own projects.
