JGH: Partial closure of Légaré Street on January 26

Please be advised that on January 26, the northbound lane of Légaré Street — between Côte‑Sainte‑Catherine Road and Bourret Avenue — will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to allow for crane operations related to ongoing work on Pavilion K.

During this time:

Traffic flow:

  • The northbound lane will be closed.
  • Traffic signallers and detour signage will be in place to direct motorists safely around the work area.

Emergency Department access:

  • Vehicle access to the Emergency Department drop‑off will remain open at all times.
  • Pedestrians, however, will need to use the opposite sidewalk and cross back near the ED entrance.

Pedestrians:

  • Sidewalk access on the hospital side of Légaré will be restricted.
  • Temporary signage will guide pedestrians along the safe detour route.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience, understanding and cooperation as this essential work is carried out.
