Dr. Jacobson has been associated with the Jewish General since 1969. Rising through the ranks, he served as Chief of the Urology Department from 1979 to 1989. As well, he chaired the hospital’s Medical Advisory Board from 1983 to 1985 and was a member of the Medical Executive Committee from 1983 to 1989. The author of numerous scientific papers, Dr. Jacobson is involved in a group practice covering urology at the Jewish General as well as three other McGill University teaching hospitals. He is a widely recognized and very active uro-oncologist with a strong interest in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer.
