Cell and gene therapy of cancer and other illnesses.

In addition to Dr. Galipeau’s clinical duties he also has an active research program in cell and gene therapy of cancer. His research team have developed strategies targeting malignant tissue in vivo and are also exploring the utility of genetically-engineered bone marrow stroma for regenerative medicine and for delivery of therapeutic proteins for treatment of acquired and hereditary diseases.
