Dr. Carmela Pepe joined the Pulmonary Division in July 2006 upon completion of her pulmonary and oncology fellowship training. She has recently begun collaborations with the Oncology and Geriatric Divisions to launch a monthly Oncology and Aging Seminar Series. In addition she is involved in a pilot study led by the Geriatric Division evaluating health and functional status, and outcomes of cancer treatment in older cancer patients. She is also completing a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology at McGillUniversity with a thesis project entitled “Chemotherapy in Elderly Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Patients: A Quebec Cancer Centre Experience”.
