Clinical Practice

Clinical practice promotes patient wellness while offering the latest, most effective, targeted treatments. At weekly interdisciplinary meetings, the patient’s medical examinations, tests and relevant history are reviewed by the whole team as part of the process of determining the most appropriate medical approach.

Regular interdisciplinary meetings are held to review the results of the most recent patient-reported symptoms assessments.  These meetings are attended by nurses, the dietitian,  physiotherapist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and chaired by the PBLCC Director.  The team then reviews the most symptomatic patients and makes new intervention plans where appropriate.  In this way the physical, psychological, emotional and social needs of the patient and family are taken into account, and all practitioners are able to collaborate in providing their expertise to help each patient.
