The series is preserved at the Health Sciences Library of the Jewish General Hospital.

This series contains a hardcopy of the 1994 history book titled "Our History of Family Medicine: The Herzl Family Practice Centre and Department of Family Medicine of the Sir Mortimer B. Davis Jewish General Hospital" authored by Michael Regenstreif and an undated typescript by Dudley Cordell titled "The Will and the Dream: An Evolutionary History of the Herzl Clinic". It also contains the Act of incorporation of the “Herzl Hospital and Dispensary” from 1913, an administrative history of the Herzl Family Pratice Centre, a memorandum of agreement between the Jewish General Hospital and Herzl Health Centre on their merger, as well as a tribute certificate given to a Herzl Doctor in 1948 (missing).

The series is preserved at the Health Sciences Library of the Jewish General Hospital.

This series contains mainly the correspondence between the administration of the Herzl Health Centre (predecessor of the Herzl Family Practice Centre) and that of the Jewish General Hospital regarding their merger in 1972. Correspondence on other topics, e.g. memo of the 1st departmental meeting of the General Practice Department, comments regarding the draft of a history book about the Centre, cancellation of the joint executive committee overseeing Herzl's integration can also be found.

Letter from A. Feiner, President of Herzl to Dr. M. Naihouse thanking him for his invaluable services at the clinic dated 1948, and Peter Bronfman's letter to Morton Bessner dated Feb. 22, 1972 were used in the Herzl Centennial exhibit, May - Nov. 2012.

The series is preserved at the Health Sciences Library of the Jewish General Hospital.

This series contains material related to the merging of the Herzl Health Centre with the Jewish General Hospital in 1974. It contains minutes of meetings at various levels, from the Centre's board of directors' meetings, to negotiation meetings between the two institutions, to higher levels which involved officers from the Allied Jewish Community services and the Ministry of Social Services, predominantly between 1971 and 1973. Also included are the Centre's statistics, correspondence, memorandums, reports of the Planning Committee and the Joint Executive Commitee of the Herzl Family Practice Centre, as well as Quebec government publications concerning local community service centres (CLSCs).

This series contains the minutes of the monthly meetings of the Board of the Directors (succeeded by of the Board of the Governors in 1924) of the Herzl Dispensary, and the minutes of its Annual Meeting. Also included are The Act to Incorporate the Herzl Hospital and Dispensary (CD p.i-69), budget for year 1929-31 (CD p.70-149) and 1935 (CD p.150-94) and by-laws.

The series is under the custody of the administrative office of the Goldman Herzl Family Practice Centre.

This series contains research materials collected by filmmaker Ezra Soiferman from various sources related to the history of the Centre. Most of the materials are reproductions of the original. It consists of the Report of the First Annual Meeting of the Herzl Dispensary from 1913, a brief biography and newspaper obituary for the founder of the Herzl Dispensary Dr. Samuel Ortenberg (1887-1976), an institutional biography of the Herzl Dispensary written by David Rome, a reproduction of microform of a Canadian Jewish Chronicle article titled “Our Institutions II: The Herzl Dispensary”. Also included are a printout of “Experience Heritage” by the Jewish Public Library Archives (JPLA) on the newspapers of Jewish Montreal and printouts from the Canadian Jewish Heritage Network website describing archival holdings of the Herzl Dispensary, and the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies, from the JPLA and the Canadian Jewish Congress Charities Committee National Archives. Several photographs of the Herzl Dispensary at its location on St. Dominique & St. Urbain streets in Montreal are included in this collection also.

The series was generated during filmmaker Ezra Soiferman's research on the history of the Goldman Herzl Family Practice Centre for a documentary film in commemoration of the Centre's centennial in 2012.

The majority of the series is under the custody of the administrative office of the Goldman Herzl Family Practice Centre. A small portion of the collection presently being preserved by the Archives was donated by the Public Affairs and Communications of the JGH.

This series mainly consists of photographs and negatives preserved in various loations within the JGH. The majority of the collection can be found in two folders named "Herzl Photos" and "Herzl History" respecitvely under the custody of the administrative office of the Goldman Herzl Family Practice Centre (previously known as Herzl Family Practice Centre). The first folder contains approximately 80 photographs, 8 negatives, and 3 contact sheets from about 1950 - 2000; included are several group photographs of residents, staff, and individual portraits. A few photocopies of past press releases and reproduction from a few Keneder Adler articles (source unverified) about the Centre upon and shortly after its opening can also be found in this folder. The second folder contains 33 photographs dated from 1923 - 1993 that depict staff moving offices, as well as a curated selection of photographs depicting the medical staff at the clinic and board members. The Archives preserves a small portion of the series which contains mainly b/w photographs about the Centre in the 1910s, between 1980s and 1990s, with a few undated.

Photographs of the Centre in 1910s and the Dental Clinic have multiple copies.

The majority of the series is under the custody of the administrative office of the Herzl Family Practice Centre. A small portion is perserved at the Health Science Library.

This series contains photocopies and original publications or press clippings from various sources about Herzl's inception, evolution and gradual merger with the Jewish General Hospital. It contains photocopies of Yiddish articles (preserved in the Health Sciences Library) from Keneder Adler about its opening in 1912 and its operation in the early years. It also contains articles about its 25th and 50th anniversary celebrations and its merger with the JGH in 1974. Also included are 2 listings (preserved by the Herzl Administrative Office) from 1932 and 1933 with the names of the members of the Board of Directors, Medical Board, and Medical Staff for Herzl.
