The Stroll Family Cancer Prevention Centre is dedicated to providing specialized, up-to-date information and resources to the public, focusing on Lifestyle Programs and Cancer Genetics. The centre offers group sessions for members of the public interested in learning how to minimize their cancer risk. In addition, it offers specialized consultation services for individuals and families with inherited susceptibility to various cancers.
With ties to the McGill Department of Oncology’s Cancer Prevention Program, academic staff of the Centre are involved in advancing research efforts in the multidisciplinary field of cancer prevention. Through interactions with research colleagues worldwide, they are able to bring specialized advice and testing, previously unavailable in the province, to the local population.
