Work on Légaré Street in September

TO ALL JGH PATIENTS AND VISITORS

As of the beginning of September, the City of Montreal will begin work on Légaré Street.

Over the course of the next two months, the City will repave Légaré Street between Linton and Côte Sainte-Catherine Road. Additionally, new street lights and sidewalks will be installed. The work will begin near Linton and will finish with the portion in front of Pavilion E.

Work on Légaré Street in front of the JGH should begin in October. During this section of the work, the drop-off zone in front of Pavilion E will not be accessible by car.

Instead, a temporary drop-off zone will be available on Côte Sainte-Catherine Road in front of the Emergency Department entrance. A security guard will be on hand at all times to ensure the flow of traffic.

Signage will be posted indicating the temporary drop-off zone.

The Légaré Street entrance will remain open at all times.

A notice will be sent to remind staff, patients and visitors of this temporary dropoff zone closer to the time.
