February, Heart and Stroke Month

At the Jewish General Hospital, patients who have a heart attack or cardiac surgery recover their mobility and independence faster with a new innovative, structured early rehabilitation program. Indeed, as soon as possible following their admission, patients do targeted physical exercises with the help of family members or nurses. This program allows patients to have the necessary independence to recover their physical capacities independently and to decide how often and when they can do their exercises.

Dr. Michael Goldfarb, Cardiologist and Director of Quality of Care and Safety, is available for interviews.
