Problems with accessing AMA journals through McGill
There is a problem with the subscriptions at Mcgill with AMA journals. In the meantime they have offered us access by username and password which will only be useable through to the end of this month. It has been tested and it does work. We can share it as widely as we want, but it will stop working at the end of the month. Click on the "Sign in" button at the top right of any AMA journal site and login with the following:
Username: amajnlsdec Password: blu3drag0n [more]

Author in the Room Teleconferences-- brought to you by JAMA and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement
The Institute for Healthcare Improvement has partnered with JAMA to facilitate the transition of science into practice through the series Author in the Room. In this series, the author of a study published in JAMA with the potential to change clinical practice will talk with clinicians during a conference call, facilitated by clinical experts in implementing changes in practice. The call will be followed by a discussion group and participants will be assessed to determine the degree to which they believe they have implemented change within their practice. For more information, visit the Institute for Healthcare Improvement website.
Listen to previous Author in the Room audio teleconferences on IHI's website or access them on iTunes. Download free "podcasts" of the WIHI audio broadcasts for playing on an iPod or other MP3 player. To access the podcasts, click here and follow the instructions. [more]
