Please be aware that the move to the Blue Bonnets parking lot has been POSTPONED.

The Bedford and Victoria parking lots WILL NOT close on Monday, January 23, despite the previous announcement. Both will  remain open until further notice.

Further information will follow in the coming weeks.

JGH is first in Canada to use surgical robot for complex removal of pancreatic tumour
The Jewish General Hospital (JGH) has become the first hospital in Canada to perform robot-assisted surgery to complete an extremely complex operation known as the Whipple Procedure. In this procedure, a pancreatic tumour is removed by having the robot gain access to the tumour through a series of small punctures. Gone is the need for large incisions in the abdominal wall.

JGH and CSSS Cavendish partner up to improve care to patients
Taking blood tests or other similar tests just got easier for patients who live around the Cavendish Mall. If they choose, the residents of Côte Saint-Luc, Hampstead, NDG, Snowdon-West and Montreal-West can now go to the CSSS Cavendish - CLSC René-Cassin Test Centre at the mall instead of making a longer trip and possibly spending more time waiting to be seen at the Jewish General Hospital (JGH) Test Centre. Through an agreement by both healthcare institutions, the service offered by the CSSS Cavendish to the population does shorten wait times and improve the quality of care.

Anwar Stewart helps kick-off Bust a Move for Breast Health™ at the Jewish General Hospital
In the first event of its kind in Montreal, hundreds of participants will come together in March for a day-long fitness and fundraising event that will have them sweating, stretching and lunging through six energizing hours of exercise including yoga, zumba and aerobics. The event is Bust a Move for Breast Health™, and its goal is to unite people of all ages to support breast health in Quebec.
