Overview
The Transfusion Safety Team manages the transfusion of blood and blood products. The team ensures that the transfusion process respects Canadian standards and is administered safely. All patients and healthcare professionals are provided with information and guidance when requested.
Patients do not contact Transfusion directly but through referral of their doctor.
