Overview
The JGH Division of Infectious Diseases is responsible for clinical activities, teaching, research and clinical lab-related activities as they relate to a range of infectious diseases.

The division has grown significantly over the past ten years. For example, the increase in emerging infections such as West Nile virus and Hepatitis C, the increase and spread of multi-resistant “super-bugs” and drug-resistant tuberculosis and the appearance of infectious human pathogens as agents of bio-terrorism have all contributed to a greater need for this specialty and physicians specifically trained in the area.

Services

  • Infectious Diseases Clinic: walk-in clinic, without appointment
