| Centre for Nursing Research |
The mandate of the Centre for Nursing Research is to conduct and publicize the results of rigorous, peer reviewed, externally funded research directed towards the advancement of nursing practice. The Centre is also mandated to promote evidence-based practice throughout the nursing department.
Core members of the Centre include: Margaret Purden N., Ph.D. (Scientific Director); Carmen Loiselle N., Ph.D. (Nurse Scientist); Nancy Feeley N., Ph.D.(Nurse Scientist); Céline Gélinas N., Ph.D. (Nurse Scientist); Deborah Weiss Ph.D., (Research Coordinator & Data Analyst); Rachel Daly, MLIS (Research Librarian); and Stephanie Lopresti (Senior Clerk). Other professionals are employed according to their expertise and the needs of specific research projects. Nursing students also contribute to the Centre for Nursing Research as research assistants or in conducting their own projects. |
