Overview
The Jewish General Hospital provides an entire spectrum of care to patients with heart disease. The Division of Cardiology acts as a major referral centre. A high concentration of patients also arrive through the Emergency Department. The division treats all common types of cardiac disease, including coronary disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease and arrhythmias. It also provides extremely specialized care, in the form of management of patients with adult congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension.
